A well-functioning health information system plays a transformative role in supporting strategic management decisions for the health sector in low and middle-income countries.

However, the limited capacity to collect, analyze and use health data for decision making by many country governments continues to impede the broader health system. These challenges are magnified when health information systems do exist, but are not interoperable, and create inefficient duplication of efforts.

Join us at the Global Digital Health Forum for more funding insights!

The problems continue when there is a lack of local capacity building that can educate and motivate the next generation of health information system leaders.

$200 Million USAID CHISU 5-Year Program

USAID intends to award one $200 Million cooperative agreement to support the 5-year Country Health Information Systems and Data Use (CHISU) program that will strengthen health information systems across 20 low and middle income countries.

Subscribe now to get more digital health funding for your organization!

The program will work to achieve this goal by:

  • Strengthening enabling environment of country health information systems;
  • Increasing availability and interoperability of quality health data and information systems;
  • Increasing demand and use of health data and information to address health priorities;
  • Strengthening organizational development of local partners for sustained health data use.

USAID welcomes applications from responsible organizations developing countries, and organizations which have not previously received financial assistance from the US Government.

Apply Now! Deadline is November 26.

    Do you fund smaller who may need just about $100,000.00 annually. Our organization has HIV/AIDS programs targeting reduction of infection in new born babies in conjunction with Government clinics. With such consistent funding for three years we can reach out to many women and girls.
